Hi, I’m the founder of silkora™.
I started this journey with a simple belief: that self-care and wellness should
be accessible, effortless, and made from materials closest to us.

For most of my life, I believed good skin and hair came from expensive products and big beauty brands. From my early teens, I struggled with irritated, inflamed skin, acne, and as a curly-haired girl,
frizz that felt impossible to tame. What I saw online seemed like the only
standard of beauty, until I realised it wasn’t accessible or realistic for
everyone. That changed when my dermatologist recommended a silk pillowcase.

After years of sleeping on silk through every Aussie season and even travelling with it through the harsh climates of Europe and Asia, I experienced the difference it made to my skin, hair, and overall wellbeing. I wanted to share that feeling with others who, like me, were tired of dealing with irritated skin, restless nights, and high-cost products that simply don’t work for everyone.
